I love a good matte eye shadow formula. And who better to make it than Make Up For Ever?! The Artist Shadows are some of the most beautiful colors I’ve seen, and thanks to the quality of these shadows, I was finally able to create a look that’s been on my mind for a while: Sunset Eyes. Using red, brown, and orange tones, I wanted to create the beautiful gradient we see when the sun begins to set over the ocean. Blending these shades together we get a hint of purple as well, giving this a rich and dramatic feel.
I decided to use Sienna, Burgundy, and Espresso, all matte shades and all super buttery blendable colors! These are highly pigmented colors, (wouldn’t expect anything less from MUFE) with a light-medium-dark range for that perfect gradient.
